The MSGA & MSGB Ground Spur Gears are made from 41xx-series chrome-alloy steel, carburized, and ground-finished. This results in a high-strength, abrasion-resistant, and compactly designed Spur Gear. Since these gears are fully carburized, no secondary machining is permitted on the bore, hub, or length.
